The American Board of Medical Specialists (ABMS) is a board that oversees all the medical specialities.
Potential patients can call ABMS at 1-800-776-2378 to see if their surgeon is board certified.
You may also use this online tool to verify whether or not your doctor is Board-Certified or what their field of expertise is.
